EUMASS working meeting in Warsaw

EUMASS working meeting was held on 23rd - 24th September 2016 in Warsaw. Polish Association of Insurance Medicine was a co-organizer of the first day of the meeting. Members of the Association and guests invited by PTMU prepared two scientific sessions.

The first session concerned the issues related to doctor - patient communication from medical insurance viewpoint. Proffessor Tomasz Pasierski, dr Piotr Daniluk and dr Paulina Barnaś presented their speeches in this session.

In the second part of the meeting director Grażyna Hart, the head doctor of Polish Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has presented the current status of the implementation of sick leave e-certificate in Poland.

In the final part of the meeting dr Krzysztof Grzyliński and proffessor Jarosław Berendt have covered the topic of the new tools assisting the medical examiner, in particular the innovative system for the personal injury extent assessment developed by the experts of PAIM and PTMSiK (Polish Association of Forensic Medicine and Science) – the HBT system (Human Body Trauma Index).

Topics presented by the members of PAIM proved to be very interesting to the participants of the meeting.

On September 24th a meeting of EUMASS Council was held, in which PAIM was represented by dr Piotr Daniluk.
